im thinking about installing my bbk shorties this weekend and i was wondering if anyone has installed them so i could get some tips, or want to lend a hand at all?

heh, LT1? google header install. there's some good write ups and tips. i recommend a dip stick tube though.

For shorties? cmon, bet you don't even have to take the starter off.

you don't for shorty's. but you need to remove the dipstick and you are better off replacing it. hope the motor mounts aren't sagging, otherwise you aren't clearing the steering column. PB Blaster EVERYTHING!!!! haha. stock y-pipe? if not you need to either save your cat or buy a universal high flow and get that sucker welded in and make it connect to the rest of your system.
