a high post count does not indicate a high iq
a high post count does not indicate a high iq
But it does indicate that he has been here longer than you and has contributed more to the forum, and to the members in general.
Cliffs: UBG > you.
OP: just sign up on UBG's website and you can have all the UBG posts you can handle

UBG wasent on here to try and become popular, he knew peopel here that started the webiste personally, and was one of the first to sign up. He writes posts, because he's got something on his mind, and is not afraid to type it, but this place has gotten to strict, and taking away a mans freedom of thought, which he feels he must share with the fellow people, is not right. This isnt a pissing contest, this used to be a relaxed site, but your too newb to know what that was like.

I'm a newb too... I read the thread about him helping out a firefighter at a 7-11 or something and paying for their slushys. He's on my thumbs-up list for that one.

Why did justin make himself the last person to post then lock the thread never allowing such and awsome event to happen again? Sounds kinda boring to me tru2.

you really have no idea what you'll be missing. some parts get slow, but when it picks up its like soda-shooting-out-your-nose kinda funny.

Jersey - if you read it you would know that there are several times over the few months it was going that I said or inferred that I was gonna end it at 10k posts. I also did lots of editing and post merging in it every day to keep the whoring to a somewhat acceptable level.....kinda.
Other members deleted some of their own posts too to try and be at the top of certain pages, etc. If you aren't a Buddy List OG, it's kinda hard to fully understand just what the Buddy List is and what it stood for.
- Justin
Just out of curiosity, why did you lock it at 10k, not 20, 30 or 100?

Just a number that was picked in the early days of the BL. Seemed at the time like it would take forever, but there were nights where we would add 200+ posts to it, so it hit that number faster than any of us thought it would.

Oh yeah?
ENERGY SUSPENSION SHIPS ZIP-TIES WITH THEIR CLAMSHELL MOTOR MOUNTS!
You hammer/drill out the big rivets in your existing mount, open it, insert your new energy susp insert, and zip tie them back together.
No ****. I'm not kidding. I ended up welding mine together when the time came.

Maybe once per year, on the anniversary of the death of the buddy list thread, we could open it for like a 2 hour period, for nostalgias sake.

IIRC the buddy list thread really started to lose interest toward the end of its life. there were times where an hour would go by and people hadn't posted
