I owned this truck for 9 years and 4 months. It was like my best friend and it really hurt to let it go but the trans and trans case went and I couldn't bring myself to spend that kinda cash to fix her. She only got like 11 MPG, had 160,000miles on it and with the gas prices so high I had to let her go. All of you up in Sussex might see her, I sold it to Whitty Trans on RT 23 and the kid thats getting it lives up there. Bought a really clean 2003 ZR-2 Blazer with 47,000 miles on it for $9500 over in PA. I like it alot but I still miss my Bubba. I gotta update my fquick garage so you can see the new ride!

Yeah my wallet would have though. I broke the output shaft of my trans in half and all the rest you can kinda figure out. That was not a good day. To make matters even worse I had to drive the Hawk to a CONSTRUCTION SITE for about a week till I got new truck.

It was around $3000. Thats alot of cash that I ain't got. It's a legit shop so I didn't think they were jerking my chain. Nice people at Whitty's. Always did the right thing by me.

4L60? I would have just grabbed a used one and swapped it myself. Not the easiest thing in the world, but it prolly would have made more financial sense.

Yeah those 1/2ton / 3/4 ton trans/tcase's are a dime a dozen.

I didn't want to get a used trans and trans case cause it woulda cost about $2500 to $3000 for them and with my luck woulda broke in 6 months. And it did wave 160,000 miles on it.

It was a 1/2 ton, 6ft bed extended cab. Got $2500 for it but man that hurt! Truck was in great shape. You can check it out at my Fquick garage.
