Just get a name brand tire. The BFG Radial TA or the Firestone equivalent. The FS will likely be cheaper.

What size are the wheels? If you have at least 15x7 rims you could probably go up to 235/60/15 and get better handling and keep the speedo and rpm's the same. I went with the Cooper tires on my 70 SS396 and they look really good after 3800 miles so I have no complaints.

yea, that size tire should have come on a 15x7 wheel on a 3rd gen.

i'm an advocate for BFG KDWS, but I'm not sure exactly how all season they are. My car doesn't see snow. They're sticky as hell on the track (held a 1.8x 60' in a manual), and I'm happy with the performance on the road dry or wet.

bfg radial t/a's are what i have, been real good, good in rain and dry, plus have a classy look ;)

They worked great for me in the snow on the GTP. I'm on my second set.

I'd bump to 235/60/15s as well.

I like the BFG Radials, but there are a lot of tires out there that offer much better performance and traction then they do.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I noticed that over the years the in-stock stuff seemed to diminish until one day the store was empty and the sign was up.
