ok i know im posting about something very simple but this is starting to get to me...

ive been trying to bleed the hydraulic clutch and today i got pressure, but bad pressure, hard to explain, just not normal. ive been told there is still air in the system.

i gravity bled it and after no more bubbles i told my gf to pump the clutch and hold it down, i opened the bleeder screw...she felt some pressure after i closed it and she pumped. we did this about 10 or 11 times...and its the same pressure, nothings changing.

has this every happened to anyone? i checked and rechecked the lines, i havent got a chance to fasten to bolts on the slave or master yet but im sure i fastened them pretty good before i tried this.

if it helps, the master cylinder and the slave cylinder are brand new..does that play a factor? this problem is starting to piss me off..i know its so simple but its been a real pain so far..anyhelp would be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance fellas

i believe you have to bleed the master if it is new....

its easier out of the car, but if its in, basically same as a bleeder just crack the line instead. its just hard to tell what is going on with the fluid and air. do the slave after

Here are some instructions on how to install clutch master.

http://www.installuniversity.com/install_university/index.htm

It's under transmissions section. You have to bench bleed the master first. If you have any ??s pm me.

yeah you don't HAVE to bench bleed first, it just makes it a whole lot easier.

wow i finally got the pressure i wanted...after having my bro push the clutch, me opening the screw, closing it, and him releasing the clutch...after 30-40 minutes and 6 or 7 bottles of dot3 brake fluid.

call me a retard but there had to have been an easier way...we just saw progress and kept doing what we were doing...

i havent test driven it yet because when i started it up the headers started to smoke, i got brake fluid on parts and didnt really think it was too safe to drive it.

anything i should look for when im driving it to make sure all the air is out of the system?
