I'm looking to buy springs/shocks for my 94 z28 convertible. I am looking to hear some reviews of the ones that are out there. Such as the SLP Bilstein/Eibach package, QA1s, Tokico, Konis, and KYB AGX's.... Please help me out.

I have run QA1's on my 97 bird... and for drag racing they are AWESOME!!!!
Front are 12 way adj
Rear are 14 way

The 97 has a VERY loose front suspension (no front sway bar, drag lites, manual steering, EXTRMELEY lightened up - 2720 lb f body) and when I set the QA1's to a firm setting.... it feels like it has a sway bar and full size tires on there.... the front suspension becomes very tight.

I only reccomend these for someone who wants to drag racing.... as that is my experience.

They may be quite good for an auto crosser.... but I don't do those twisties

i'm thinking that i should just buy the SLP package and not bother with the adjustable shocks because my car will hit the strip on occasions but it's going to be a DD... What do yo uthink.

just ordered the SLP package, heard good reviews about it, more practical as a DD. SLP FTW

My only complain with the SLP Combo, was the rear began to sag after 2 years of daily driving duty. That and it wasn't low enough for my visual taste.

an inch lower is low enough for me. 4th Gens in my opinion are low enough as it is. It took me awhile to decide to change from my stock ride height. If I feel as though, after installation, that it should be lower can't I do the Heater Hose mod?

the hose will drop you about half an inch. keep in mind of your exhaust and whatever ground clearance issues you might have. potholes, speedbumps, driveways, etc. wreck havoc with lowered cars. if its a daily driver, i wouldnt lower it at all, living where i live.

yeah . an inch isn't too bad. it's gonna be hella hard for me to get up my driveway but i should be fine.

And how to scan ahead while driving.

You can never be "too low" :D
