.......MTV is going to remake Rocky Horror Picture Show :-x :-x :-x

They haven't announced a cast or director yet, but say they are going to stick to the original screenplay.

This is going to be so horrible.

MTV should just officially change their name to GHEY. They havent played music on that channel since Run DMC.

I'd rather put a drill into my forehead than watch anything Mtv has to do with. :twak:

You should never remake a cult classic. If you call your station "MUSIC" television, you should have music. - srry, 2cts

Yes, lol. Nah, I know people who like it. Eh, I never did. People older than me (yes, they exist) used to get all banged up and go to midnight showings and throw rice and other stuff.

Let's do the time warp again....

You know that's not true. They played nothing but Will Smith from 1998-2003.

MTV is trying to capitalize on the recently surge of young teen musicals?

Now if MTV really wants to make it special they need to get Rob Zombie to direct it. That would be the ONLY way I'd ever go see it.

That's a good call. I always thought they needed more blood in there somewhere.

I wouldn't say bad. Most either loved it or hated it. You can't just sit down and watch it in your living room to appreciate it. You have to see it in the theater with the regulars shouting all the lines.

Went to over 300 shows back in the day. The idea of ANYONE remaking it is nauseating!

Why is everyone upset? It couldn't possibly be worse than the original...that seriously has to be one of THE WORST movies of all time.

Nope...I like it too, which is why I said remaking it is gonna be awful.

You can't get devirginized again....if you've seen it in a theater, then you've already been devirginized.

I liked it....kinda funny. First time was in a theater in Memphis.....saw SO many chicks walking in that we had to take a look....lol.

I've helped out on several viewings in Iraq - we sprayed water from water extinguishers at the beginning of the movie
