too bad the jets QB protection sucks, Farve better wear some bubble wrap old man is gonna get rocked. But on the other side of things look what Farve did for greenbay last year when he didnt have any big name players...this year may be interesting...maybe a NY/NY superbowl..hahaha

They should of drafted him 18 years ago when they had the chance. Should be an interesting year for us Jets fans, though.

Everyone was talking about him going to MN

They were talking about a million places. Tampa was the major rumor I heard, and then tada!!
He's a Jet. This whole ordeal has put a bad taste in my mouth for Farve. Im not sure who to blame reguarding the whole thing, but good luck in NJ..err...NY Farve.

The NY media and fan base is going to eat this guy alive.
He should have taken the 20 mil then sign on to do Greenbay Commentary, or something with their front office. That way he can stay in sport without actually being in the game.

I'm sure he'll retire half way through the season, then want to come back again at the end

Eh the big thing was the packers thought mn was tampering with farve basically since he retired while under contract with the packers...there were some phone calls made to farve's packer phone from a mn exec or some crap like that blah blah blah.
Obviously the packers don't want their star qb for the past 20 years going to one of their main rivals in the same division so they more than likely weren't going to trade him to mn.
Eventually the packers made the move mainly to just say "dude, wtf you should've just stayed retired but here you go obviously you want to play until your 100"
The Jets will probably waive pennington or trade him.
In the end if the Jets trade Farve to MN I think they they have to give the packers like 3 1st round draft picks so I doubt he will be going to MN now.
He'll probably play this year with the Jets & realize how good he had it in GB and retire like he should've done.
Everybody is saying how they are now all of a sudden the #2 contender in that devision with the pats obviously #1, but honestly look back at the past 3 or 4 years while Brett was with the pack...with the exception of last year they didn't fair all that well. Personally I think the Jets will end up with a loosing record but I almost hope I eat my words because I do think Farve is one of the greatest ever.
Anyways thats my :2cents:

I agree with you. The Pats are gonna be mad this year too.
I hate ESPN. BF, other story, other stroy, BF, other story, other stroy, BF, other story, other stroy, BF, other story, other stroy. Enough. He's a jerk, the Packers are run by jerks, yadda yadda, I get it.
Who cares? Geez. Although they had a story on the NBA schedule this year. Whoopie! Now I know who the Nets are playing 1st week of December! Not...

are you sure? the NYPD and the NYFD have some awesome football teams that could probally give the jets a run for the money. jets will aways suck thats just the way it is. you should be used to it by now!
i hear NAMATH is coming back to challenge favre for the starting job.
JETS=just end the season

its not hard to be number two in the afc east when you have the personnel fiasco going on in miami and buffalo. favre has ruined his legacy and shouldve just retired a packer.
the afc east is none of my concern.
Philadelphia will own the NFC east this year.
