I'm breaking in a fresh T56 this weekend so no road course or downshifting for ~500 miles or so. Going to the F-Body Nationals @ Island instead.

I'm hoping to get at least one more open track day, or at least a good auto-x, before the season ends.

Today at Giants stadium was good. I didn't set the world on fire, but held my own. In class U I finished 4th out of 9, so mid pack. Results aren't posted yet, but think I was in the top third of a 40+/- car field. The weather held off, except for a few showers early but was dry the rest of the day. The course seemed like it would be very fast when I did the walk through, but as usual, I was wrong. It turned out to be quite technical with lots of slow corners and directional changes which weren't very f-body friendly. I can't complain too much as there were a couple of fast BMW M-3s that didn't seem to have a problem. I was stuck in the mid to low 45's most of the day. FTD was a low 43 (I think?) and a good bunch of in the mid 44s to mid 45's. I really thought I had 44.something, but couldn't find it today. Maybe my SES light was holding me back? (Yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it)

E-town tomorrow......C-prepared

here's a link to the results....not as good as I had hoped. If finished in the top half not the top third....

NNJR SCCA at E-town is $35 for SCCA members or $45-50 for non members. If you are a non member they force to you buy a weekend membership for $10-15, then the $35 fee on top of that. It has something to do with insurance.
