Another thread for praise for Josh!
Some of you may or may not know, when I was a young man I thought I would be different and put together a solid cammed 305 with whatever little funds I had. Well, I had it torn down, heads and cam installed, and some how stalled out working on it for several years. After many questions arose as to how much longer, I decided that I was going to sell it. Well, I never sold it, and just kept it. About a year later, I picked up my 72 so I had a new toy to play with, and the 87 sat in the garage unfinished for years.
My gf asked me if I was ever going to get the 87 done. I had thought about restarting it, but I knew that I would just get right back into the same situation I was before. So after several good reviews of Josh's work from very close friends of mine, I decided to have my car taken there and have him finish whatever I had started.
Well, after several major bumps in the road to finishing of this project, the car was done for the most part this past week. I picked her up friday, and drove her home. Drove great, and the car felt good. After I run it through a few hundred gallons of gas, I plan on bringing her back to Josh to have it tuned so I can get this thing running 100%.
Thanks again Josh for not putting a 1/2 socket wrench through my skull at times! Great service, always up to date on whats going on!!
Great to have my third gen back...sure shows the weakness of the 2nd gen...big time.
