I heard about the crash, that bridge is right by the old headquarters of the photo company i do work for. I've never been on it when they had two way traffic on one span, but the bridge does seem rather tight, and i've always wondered how much those barriers can withstand.

"through a concrete Jersey wall "

Why do other states call concrete barriers or dividers "Jersey walls?"

"through a concrete Jersey wall "

Why do other states call concrete barriers or dividers "Jersey walls?"

NJDOT designed them....way back when......at least that's what I remember from Highway Design.
