View Full Version : New here, and NEED paint and body shop for RARE 84 Z28 Roadster!!

Hey guys/gals, I'm new here in many ways (to the state and to this forum).. I need to find a good paint and body shop in the Northern New Jersey area for my 1984 Z28 Roadster (2 seater). I just bought it, and want to put a SS hood on it, and an IROC front bumper. It needs paint and I am new to NJ and don't know where to take it. HELP! :)

This is the beast.

It has a 350 bored .40 over, 750 edelbrock carb, headers, dual exhaust to dual glasspacs.

nice car you were giveing away that hood on craiglist yesterday theres a body shop in west orange called chris collision they do good work

Yep, that was me.. I put the stock hood back on it. That hood had a lot of cracks in it and the fiberglass was pealing off in some areas. the guy I bought it from said the day he got it painted and put on, he was driving home and it flew off of the car.. that's gotta suck..

If your looking for a high quality shop contact hardcorez28 on the boards his name is paul and he owns rpm customs and does top notch work at great prices.

He is more towards central jersey but if you want it done right the first time with no drama id go with him.

Thanks, I am actually going to go check out HardcoreZ28's shop (RPM) tonight. But thanks for the info!
