Anyone ever work on one of these. I haven't yet, but it appears it's under the dash, not in the engine bay. Just wondering how much it's going to take to swap it out?

OMG! What a PITA! You would think 6 bolts would have been easy!

A) Remove EMC, 4 plugs, 3 bolts = 2 minutes.

B) Remove Blower motor, 3 bolts. Two right up front = 2 minutes.

And one up against the firewall that you need to have an arm with 3 elbows and a hand with 8 fingers so you can get a socket on!! = about 1 hour of cursing, throw tools and back and neck cramps.

C) Go try to by replacement motor and fan/blade/cage/wheel (Name changes depending on who you talk to, which is only a dealer part!!!) $515 for the freaken plastic parts via GM dealer! (Just over $200 from GMPARTSDIRECT!)

The case was full of acorns! I HATE squirrels!

Yes, only because I got stuck traveling with work so I just ordered it quickly since I already have an account. Will get it back together this weekend.
