I have a Wii and I guess it fits. Kids have their friends come over and they all have a Wii so nothing new to learn, just play the game.
I admit, I'm a Wii Sports addict. I enjoy the bowling and golf games.

play a game on an up to date PC and you'll see why console games are trash. Graphics can't be touched.

I agree to a point, the thing with PC games is that they're constantly requiring more out of your PC, so it needs to be upgraded etc.
Consoles are more consistent

Eh, they each have their pros and cons.
PC upgrading is a huge negative. But the amount of controls you can have, not to mention easy scripting for some games is a big plus. And mouse+keyboard in FPS is still the best way to play from what I've seen.

there should be a side column over xbox 360 that reads "do you like spending lots of money every year on a console thats always broken?"

QFT. I can give many reasons as to why my hardly-played, dust-collecting X360 Elite hasnt been touched in over 4 months

love the COD4 on 360. and i agree pc games COULD BE the best on an awesome $12k alien ware pc, but i have better things to do rather than sit around and play games. like...blow **** up or something boring like that.

i think it depends what game you are playing....i play starcraft and diablo 2 and all the blizzard games on my computer because they are only made for my computer. still sick games. but multiplayer is sick on halo 3 for xbox 360, and if you want to have fun with girls who dont like video games buy a wii

i prefer playing video games on my tv. i hate playing on computers. too many interruptions/distractions. plus i have a nice, big LCD tv with great everything so it looks good to me. xbox360 FTW

I've had my 360 since Christmas of 2006 and haven't had any issues. I stuck some 3M rubber feet on it to raise it up about 1/2" for more airflow since most of the issues revolve around heat.
I occasionally get a dirty disc message, but otherwise it's been all smooth sailing *knocks on wood*.
That being said, I still prefer to play most games on PC.

i am just now getting into the games available for PC. i'm still waiting for the graphics boards from my builder, and when they come i expect to be able to play anything on the market without overclocking, and anything they dream up for tomorrow with some possible overclocking... the key point is that i have the ability. try that with an Xbox or a PS2-3. not happening.
p.s. that big LCD monitor in your living room is the perfect place to hook up your computer. want to see njfboa.org in 1920X1440 ? now, try that with your Xbox...

I went onto eBay and bought one of those fans that stick in the back of my xBox. Before that, it would freeze up alot, or lag, but it appears to cool it considerable, and its even better when the A/C is kicking in the room. Id like to find an extra side panel, and drill press some small holesi n it to add for cross ventilation, hopefully al my worries will be gone after that. Oh and Consols forever. Yeah you may not be able to upgrade the graphics in a Consol, but when you go to the store to buy a game for one, you never have to worry if its compatible, or if youd need to buy crap to make it compatible, just put it in and play :)

How is C+C3?
the Wii IMO is meant for toddlers, XBOX360 sucks (Halo FTW) , PS3 by far the best. better graphics, blue ray capability, free online, sleeker system, updates more frequently, and doesn't have a red ring of death.

I just bought a 360. The game play is fun, graphics are really good, but I spent a full day on the phone with Live technical support to find out that the problem I was having was probably nothing to do with my console. (couldn't connect to another game, couldn't accept a chat).
I think I would have preferred a ps3, but xbox was just more affordable, and i dont play video games all that much, but did want to get into forza :)

You get what you paid for lol. I dont mind the 50 bucks a year, but I do mind how much xbox points cost to download content.
