So its come time to upgrade my helmet and I've searched high and low for a particular style that I liked and also one that has excellent reviews to go along with. I've tried this particular helmet on multiple times and I'm very satisfied with it over my inexpensive HJC helmet. Now the only thing holding me back is choosing a color. I'm probably going to order it in a few days along with a tinted windshield so just picture that into the scheme. BTW I have 2 black jackets & wear black gloves.

Heres the Helmet, Icon Domain Decay:

Black:

Blue:

The Bike:

(Both sides have been debadged of the R6S Emblem & White stickers. The only white is the YAMAHA on the lower fairing and tail. This winter I'm having the pegs powder coated Black to match the frame so the only chrome or silver will be the forks & brakes.)

So what do you guys think?

thats tough but that helmet screams badass. the blue doesn't contrast the skull enough for me. and the black on black on the other side looks cool as hell. i think that changes to silver at different angles? i'm all for the BLACK!

If the blue doesn't match perfectly, it'll look like schlock, plus what bmxrider said

I gotta go with the black as the blue wont match right and theres better contrast

the helmet dosent need to match the bike, the helmet should be your way of expressing yourself and being individual on a mass produced color scheme bike........my old helmet didnt match my bike ONE bit

In for black. If you wear all black, it will look the best and will certainly match the bike.

Thats a cool ass looking helmet. I'd say black unless you get the blue painted the same color as the bike.

Mike, what I meant was that if the blue helmet is only slightly off the blue bike, it'll look horrendous, like you tried to match and screwed up.

I voted for black aswell...think of it this way, if ya ever get bored of the Bike and want to get a differant one, Black is obviously pretty neutral so it wont matter what color you get and not have to worry about purchasing another helmet than.

another thing....have you riddin with a smoked lense at nite yet?? if not, than take my word for it...dont. its near impossible to see out of it at nite. i would find myself having to ride with the visor up untill i just started switching them over from smoked to clear as it got darker. than that got to be a pain in the arse so i just left the clear on..lol.

I wear clear/blueish rider safety glasses when I ride regardless so I can keep the visor up when I'm cruising. I like the cool air going through the helmet without taking a bug or rock to the eye.
