Dumb orientation stuff. First break all day. Showering real quick, then out to come convocation and then out drinking.

All about the ratio man. If you live in a dorm, grab some nice young ladies and take them out. They will get you in wherever you need to go. I was fortunate enough in my dorm to have ladies across, next, and diagonally from my door. They wanted to all go out and party so I was happy to escort them.

Good times.

I did. Took some friends I know from high school and went out with them. Problem is, they're retarded. Me and a friend are talking with some of the guys at the house, when we look around and the girls just peaced it. So now the hosts are like, time to leave. Spent the rest of the night trying to find them. Only to find them on the bus at 2.

i will tell you that as much fun as rutgers is, its no joke. definitely make sure you study enough or they will have no problems booting you out. however, it was by far the most fun i've ever had. maybe we can bring back bbqs when he moves into the apartments :)

Yea my first year in engineering school wasn't I expected. I was the kid in HS who didn't have to study and I got a reality check freshman year haha. I straightened up but uphill battles are never easy. Damn women, alcohol and an awesome class schedule (classes from 1PM-450PM) every day....now tell me that isn't a partying schedule?

HeHe.
Tuesday and Friday are the earliest I wake up. Class starts 9:50 which still gives enough time to cure hangover with more alcohol.
On a related note:
My roommate is non-existent. Literally, I have no roommate. Guy I was supposed to be with dropped before move in day and no one has taken his place. It has it positives and negatives though.

950 seems like an easy class time, but anything in the single digits blows

When I went away to college, I had 2 roommates in a double dorm room. Within 2 weeks, the 2 roommates moved out to room with each other in an open dorm room (how that happened, no idea). I never had another roommate the rest of the year (I had 1 girl ask to move in, but because I was sick with mono, I said no).

I enjoyed it, having my own room. I could have people over with no problem, or I can be alone and truly have peace and quiet. But I wasn't the party type, so it worked out well for me.

yeah, similar thing happened to me at willy p my first year. their freshman dorms are suites, when we moved in there were 5 people in a 4 person suite (one triple room, one double room), then the first week, one girl couldn't hack it living away from home, and the following week when 9/11 happened, one girls father was killed and she never came back to school :(. by the end of the semester, my roommate was living at her boyfriends, so it ended up being me and one other girl in a suite meant for 4 people. ours ended up being hte party rooms

No roomate is a great thing. Mine got a GF freshman year and literally moved in with her. He was never there so I called him one night and asked if he minded I rearrange the room which he had no problem with. I turned it into Casa de la DeLuca and even stole a coffee table from the community lounge to spread my car rags on.

Plus if a nice young lady wants to come back to your place for some beverages and some entertainment, you have the place to yourself :)

Finally got a roommate. Talked to him today. Seems like a really cool guy. Hes on the soccer team. And he's from Queens.
I'm from a country ass part of New Jersey, 99.7% white. Slight adjustment to say the least to be rooming with someone from the city.

Well I have never lived in the dorms, but I have seen quite a few and I would not want to live in one. I guess different strokes for different folks.

The ones on Busch campus were quite a bit nicer than the typical dorm. I had carpet (I know whoa! jk), larger than typical room, and air conditioning. Bathrooms even though they were public we very new and well kept.
