Yup. Got me a new F-Body :D It's an '81 Camaro that's one of Melissa's. It's a little rough right now, but it's going to be an LSX/T-56 land missile hopefully before next August. Here's some pics;

it looks rough because the paint is faded, but look how solid the quarters are. i bought the car for an ls1/t56 swap, lsx is even better :)

Good luck with the project.
Quick question, isn't LSx just any LS motor, but LSX is an actually crate engine? Always semi-confused on that.

Thats how I interpret it, and the LSX is the block, not a complete crate motor.

the LSX is a 454 :drool:
the LSX block can be a lot of different displacements

niiiice!!!!!
yea, I'm throwing around the idea of the LSX block, Warlock heads (hybrid LS-7 and C5-R), and maybe a twin turbo setup, screwcharger, or Kinsler EFI injection system.

[after budget]you know, on second thought, i am going to get a junkyard 454 block, and hopefully that will have D-port heads on it that i can have ported. but this means i will have enough to put a real transmission behind it and a rear in the car, so i am not constantly breaking stuff by over-powering and under-planning...[/after budget]
j/k :mrgreen: pimp those sheep out!

14:1 comp!!!!!! :shock:
I'd rather start with brand new 6.0L based on an LS2 Aluminum Block & L92 Heads with 500/500 for $5395.00 includes shipping from SDPC with 90 day warranty!
