I installed my buddy's wideband in my car today to see what the a/f is wow is all i can say( my real reaction was holy ****!) under wot its nice and lean at a 16.9:1:shock: so after an hour or so of tuning shes screeming to a nicer 13.1:1 plus or minus...time to hit the track again to see if i can improve upon that last run of 13.7.....

with 16.9 @ wot it really wouldnt suprise me if calibration was way off...did you do a free air calibration before running it in your car? Where did you install the wideband at in the system? Tailpipe? If so I thought I remember you saying you have cats...wideband reading post cat is null/void. what was your a/f at idle/cruising speeds in closed loop?

yup did the free air calibration and the cats are now EMPTY the sensor is located in the stock y after cat location on bank 1( at the tailpipe geez i may be rusty but im not an idiot give me some credit lol) at idle and cruise the a/f was 14.7-14.9 on the factory tune..... so yes it really was that lean

so i didnt make it to the track tonight but most likely fri.... so just to get an idea i went out to do some runs with my tazzo meter. before the tuning a week ago i went 14.0@99 with a 2.0 60ft tonight, same road i did 13.38@104 with a 2.09 60 ft :) so now i have a good baseline and will hopefully get close to that or better when i hit the track...

I bet the catalytic overtemp protection was loading the car up before if your cats were partially clogged and running extra hot. My car was running pretty lean after I did the longtubes, ported TB and lid. It was adding 12-14% fuel while cruising on the highway.
