As some of you may already know, my wife Gina was diagnosed with MS when she was 18. The disease effects her life greatly and is a daily challenge for her to deal with. Her "flares" as they call it, started to get more and more frequent about 6-months ago until she was put on a medication called Tsaybri. Since being on the medication injected once a month she has been doing fantastic.
Now to the point. This Sunday is a 40-mile bike run for supporting MS research and one of my good friends will be participating. A minimum of $150 must be raised in order for him to participate.
If anyone would like to donate towards the bike run and for MS that would be great. I know this is short notice being that it's now Friday but anything is better than nothing. Supporting MS research for new medicines or even a cure has proven to help the entire community that suffers from the disease.
I can accept paypal (bmdeluca@gmail.com) and any bit of support would be great.

My 28 year old daughter Lynley has had MS since her junior year at Boston University. Until just 6 months ago she also suffered with FLARES until she too is now on Tsaybri. She used to have to inject herself with another drug on a DAILY basis. It has put her entire education at a loss(she got her degree, B.S. in Journalism)so working at ANY job is not an option. Dating for her is also difficult because she has a slight limp and tires easily. She is attractive and enjoys her small circle of friends, but it is hard to fit in and outside interests are limited because not to many people realize how much MS takes out of you. A cure is not in the works, but great strides have been made in controlling this MONSTER. If you can donate to this, I would very much appreciate it and so would my daughter. If anyone would like to email her or maybe have a get together, please PM me.
