Got the G8 tinted. Snapped a couple pics this morning before I went into work. Car needs a bath but you get the idea.

I went light so hopefully the cops won't harass me but wanted enough so you know it's there. Depending on your angle and time of day, it looks light and dark. I love it!

SHARP/SEXY/HOT/SWEET ETC. My son had that same LOOK, 20% on the rear window and 35% on the sides. All of 2 weeks later, I got busted driving it in PISCATAWAY(not even stopped)for having the dreaded TINT on his side windows. Needless to say that money went right down the drain when he had to take it off the drivers side windows. Hope you have better LUCK in this town then I have. Seems like every traffic light I get one behind me or every time I turn a corner, here comes a Piscataway cop car. I even had to take off my white and red "We Build Excitement" front plate from my 1995 Grand Am, when I was coming around a corner and a Piscataway cruiser was going the other way and he HAD to make a quick "U" turn to catch this lawbreaker and let me off with a warning about the terrible infraction I had on my car.

Well Ed....it's not like your son didn't know it was illegal when he had it done, so if he wasn't prepared to pay tint tickets, that's on him.

Brian - looks great!

Looks great Brian! Now you just have to get rid of that 4x4 look and give me a ring ;)

That's true. My point was that Brian may have the exact problem as my son did. Hope he can enjoy it longer than we could. We all take that chance that being the LAWBREAKERS that we are, we could have something that in SOME states is legal, but here you takes your chances and hope not to get caught. My gripe was that the glue wasn't even dry and in this cop filled town it had to come off. Just BAD LUCK! :-x

The 4x4 look won't be going anywhere for the moment. Gotta keep this car a little bit civil for DD duties and Pedders wants a lot of $$ for their suspension parts. However, I will be giving you a call anyway since I'm finished for a bit with exterior appearance mods. How does your schedule look in October?

Ed: I hopefully won't have a problem but sounds like I may. I don't cruise very much in Piscataway so hopefully I won't have much trouble. A trooper slowly passed me on the highway and didn't give me a second glance. Depends on the cop I'm sure.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

What percentage of tint did you get on your windows? As for the troopers, my son said that he passed them on the Parkway and cruisers in Eatontown(where he works)and NOBODY gave him a second look. I REALLY liked the way the tint looked on the side windows, and thought that the 35% was light enough not to raise RED flags. I don't cruise in this town, but just trying TO GET OUT of here(going to work-shopping etc.)takes forever because of all the traffic lights and that's where I seem to spot a cop car every few minutes! Of course now every time you are driving in this town your going to have to worry IF they spot your tint, and also know that I got my ticket in the MAIL, so it is up to the cops mood(or what their quota is for the day)for them to nail you. :|

I have 35% on all of the windows minus the windshield.
