Can anyone tell me the salary cap, at which you don't get federal and state taxes back?

Nah, there is a certain salary range at which you don't get your taxes back. I just don't have this years tax program yet, so I was just wondering.

Do you mean part time job where you earn like $3000 maximum during the whole year?

Yes.

It looks like it's around $5350 or less then you don't need to file a tax return. But it depends if your parents claim you as an exemption and other stuff.
