I have a 1994 Z28 with the following modifications. I have the Baer Big Brake upgrade which required putting the Corvette 5 star rims on the car. It has the Hotchkis lowering springs as well as 2002 Camaro SS shocks. The car has the upgraded MSD Optispark with the Blaster 2 Coil. The car has a K&N air filter and the aluminum elbow for the intake. It also has an electric water pump. The engine compartment has a strut tower brace installed. Viper Alarm with remote start. Trans temp gauge and a trans cooler. A salvage trans with 57K documented miles. LS1 driveshaft. New Floor Mats. Immaculate interior. The car is black with grey interior. The rear window is tinted. The car has gotten Mobile 1 full synthetic oil changes every 3000K miles while in the possesion of the previous two owners. The car has a 18x,xxx miles on it. Before everyone goes OMG keep in mind that I drive 150 miles a day and it is all highway. Exit 2 on the turnpike to Princeton every day. I was hoping to get at least 4500 for the car without having to part it out. The brakes alone were over 2 grand plus the rims and tires were another 1200 or so. So I will put on my flame suit and let the carnage begin with comments like the car isnt worth more than 1200 dollars.

If the car is otherwise clean, with those upgrades I would say you could get around $5k. It would be easier to get that or more if it was a manual, but even as an auto It sounds like a nice car.

Pics would help give a better idea of value.

I forgot about the 3 inch off road y-pipe and the high flow 3 inch cat connected which is all connected to the Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust

You can get what you're asking.

pics would help, if it was well maintained, i think the price is very reasonable. keep in mind its going into winter and the economy is so-so. i'm sure you could part it out for more, but i may be wrong.

I agree.

Depends on your buyer.

When I was looking for my T/A I wanted the closest possible to bone stock... I passed up MANY modified cars.... even heads and cam cars which were well within my price range.

It took me forever to find one... but I would pay a bit extra to get a car as close to bone stock as possible.

For a modified car..... I would expect much lower... but that is me.

And why would someone buy a car that doesn't pass emissions? ( I assume anyway with the ORY)

He said it's got a single 3" cat, which should be legal since a '94 only came with 1 cat.

That made no sense to me.

The y-pipe is an "off-road" y-pipe simply because it has no cat converter built into it. The cat is mounted after the y pipe in his application.

thats how mine is? single cat cars don't really fit the ORY statement, especially if you stick a cat on it. i donno its word technicality that doesn't really matter.
