what would anyone say the best rim cleaner is to get caked on brake dust and what not off?
trying to bing a little shine to the rims instead of dullness :lol:

what kind of rims? finish etc...im sure Rich with Jersey Devil Detailing knows a trick or two.

You will need the gel cleaner not the regular stuff. Get the wheels a little wet soak in the gel let it sit in a cool shady place for 1-2hrs making sure the gel does not dry on the wheel. Brush off with a regular wheel brush and rinse.
There is a point though where brake dust sits so long it perm. stains the wheels and there is nothing you can do except strip and repaint them which is also pretty easily done. The hardest part is masking them up. This was the case with the wheels i bought for my third gen project and they came out looking pretty good.

i's say take some sandpaper and air sander and polish them babies till you can see yourself.
