If I take the chip out a 6AL, will it still work?

the chip is for top RPM only with out it no over rev will be in place -- jz

Well I have a 6300 rev limit programed in, but I only have a 6k chip for the MSD box.

thats a first i did not know the MSD 6 AL could be re programed - what did you hook up to to do that - i could use that info for sure - jz

Sorry, the car computer is programed for a 6300 max rev.

It will function like a 6A. No rev limiter.
