Maybe you can help me. I need a list of common catch-phrases. This will help me decide a halloween costume. I take the phrase, and take it's literal meaning, and turn it into a costume.

Last year, for example, when someone asked me what I was, I told them, "Why, I'm the Total Package."

The costume consisted of a 80's style skirt made entirely of bubble wrap (well, sewn to a pair of shorts so that I wouldn't have to destroy the costume just to take it off) and top which bottom half was made of cardboard corset, the top half was a giant bow of brown packing paper (again, attached to a shirt.) I later added a shaw of bubble wrap to cover my arms more (was cold outside... plastic sure keeps the wind and cold out, might I add.) I think I have a picture of this on facebook, the original prototype, before i improved it later for a costume party in New York.

So I need more phrases like, "the bees knees" or "the cat's meow"... etc etc. Help?

Why cant you just be like all the rest of the girls and just go with what has worked for so long...slutty costumes.

Ahh...

How about Life is like a box of chocolates?
You can have a bunch of boxes of chocolates, and when you open them up, there could be messages about your life saying "you will be a successful business person" or "sorry, you have the HIV".

Everyone and their mom are gunna be Joker from Dark Knight. That whole purple suit get up. I'm being joker too but I'm going as him as the nurse with the pitsol. No one is gunna do that. Just take something that everyone does and twist it a lil.

How about Muhammad Ali's famous "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee"?That'd be an awesome costume. You can go as a sexy bee-colored butterfly with a huge stinger. Something different that I think all of us wouldn't mind seeing. -Jeff.

I thought about Kid in a Candy store... I have my ideas for that one. could be funny.
I also thought about "Vlad the ImPalin" and be a sarah palin vampire. hahahaa.
Annnd I also am debating being a coked out amy winehouse. Who knows yet i havent made anything definite.
