i think i got it from work, i shared a phone with some girl that was sick last week and find out last night i have strep.

That's what beer is for! When you drink enough, it will sooth your throat! Until you wake up the next morning. :lol: Captain Morgan is the best thing to sooth a sore throat IMO.

Al is right about vitamin C, but take that as a pill! The acidity of drinking the orange juice will only irritate it. Burns.

Warm salt water gargles will help kill off some of the bacteria. Honey is also a natural antiseptic. If you want your throat to feel better some good old fashioned black tea with honey will help soothe it. Tanic acid in tea acts a bit of a pain reliever. Good for the soreness.
