so yesterday sucked...my first class was awesome, got a good grade on my project, professor really liked it.....my second class...is when things turned. The computer was being a pos and not working right, so ok ill just use my laptop...well FINALLY photoshop figured out it wasnt.....uh well you get the idea.....so that doesnt work anymore... so back to the pos that isnt working right. class ends early YAY!! walk all the way across campus to my jeep reached for my keys and not there. they were back in the classroom that locked in 10 min on the other side of campus. sprinted back, got the keys, was loading my backpack which had my MAC in it..well it fell out of my jeep and on the ground...ok no biggie its fallen before...drive home..open the mac...and my screen is shattered. cant see half of it.:evil: so needless to say that computer is useless as a laptop and thank god i use time machine and have very recent backups. and to add to all of this the computer i use for surfing decided to screw with my video card settings so i had to go through the hell of reinstalling that with windows xp. ok im done [/rant]
wow, at least tomorrow is Friday

LCDs are LCDs.....if it's just the screen that's shattered you can prolly buy one off the 'net and do it yourself. It's just a matter of trying to find one cheap enough.

Replacing an entire screen/cracked glass may not be a big deal. Replacing a backlight lamp is the worst, it's close to impossible.
