Yea, found out when I was at work around noon time, so I went to the Animal Hospital to say goodbye. She hasn't been feel well for awhile and the past few nights got really bad....
We got her Jan. of 1991 when she was about a month old. I really can't remember not having her.
RIP .. :(

Bummer, we went through that back in March. Pets are great and they are even tougher to lose. But don't let it stop you from getting another dog when you're ready.

The hardest part is having to play GOD. You know you are doing it for them and you feel selfish that you can't keep them around. I love animal groups that have the motto "WE SPEAK FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T".

sorry man:cry:, my family went through that with our dog. we knew it was coming and when it finally did it sucked to have to do that. but it was for the best. but now we have 2 boston terriers and it really helps getting other pets because it brings more happy memories:nod:

Sorry to hear that Tim. :( A lot of people have similar stories, my uncle had to put down his white Doberman a few years back, and that really sucked. He was bummed for quite a while after it. Keep an eye on the other pooch too, they hate losing a buddy like that. :(
