Gotta make changes in my sig. line. I finally got around to putting in c-clip eliminators and a spool. Figured while I was at it I'd bump the gears up to 4.10 from 3.73's. My short time improved from 1.69 best to 1.62! Made 5 passes, all consistant. Best E.T. jumped from 11.57 to 11.48, almost all of the difference was in the 1/8 mile. The gears obviously helped A LOT and helped overcome my lousy stall converter.

Now all I need to do is come up with around 100 horsepower and I'll be solid in the 10's. :D

More cam, carb and converter is planned.

Opinions needed - How much can I expect to gain by switching my Pro-Topline heads for AFR 210's? Can't tell you much about the Pro-Topline heads other than the fact that they are cast, not aluminum. They came with the car, never been off the motor. But will be off this winter!

Congrats on the new best. Is the car intended for track or street use?

Track only. Running points at Atco next season. I figure if I trailer it then I don't have to worry about getting it home if something breaks. Besides, my truck pulling my Camaro gets better gas mileage than the Camaro would get if I drove it to the track!

awesome man congrats!! those are still great times for a street car. Still pump gas? I am trying to get really deep 10's if not a 9.99 (all i want is one 9 sec slip).
As for the heads you will shave about 15-20 lbs off the nose and also if i were you id see some flow numbers to compare to get a rough idea. Keep in mind though that u need to match the heads to the cam/motor as best as possible. For example you may get killer flow numbers at .600-.700 lift but if your cam is only a .585 lift its a waste of head. When in doubt go to the next one smaller so you dont lose that low end. What stall do you have? I see 3000 in your sig, but is it a true 3000 flashed or on the tbrake if you have one?
