just wanted to see what you guys think on the deal i got

just picked this setup up

its a 355 (69 camaro block)
hot cam
ported cast heads
aftermarket rocker arms(not sure what brand)
edelbrock performer intake
edelbrock carb
k&n filter
CAMARO valve covers

th350 transmission
shift kit
3000 stall converter

i basically bought it for the trans intake carb and accessories wasnt really looking for another motor.

idk if im going to be selling anything. im going to drop the pan soon to see if its a 2 or 4 bolt. and to see what kind of internals its got. if its a 4 i might just do a basic rebuild and keep her as a backup. as far as the carb plate im not sure yet lol. just got everything last night and just put the stuff on my monte carlo tonight.

depending on if its got a stock cast crank i might buy a stroker setup make myself a back up 383 for if the 406 goes

I have a set of 1.6 Pro Mag rockers for both self aligning and non-self aligning.

Put the edelbroke carb on Ebay and get yoru self a holley. You will thank me later.

lol the motor came out of my '79, but its a '69 block. I have an explanation for the plate, although its not really that great of an idea. I was told it's a heat shield. I can really only think of one reason why its there, and that is to try to keep fuel temps down, which is supposed to = more horsepower, but I'm not sure how effective it is...I didnt put it on there.
