Don't buy used gloves...
Used shin pads I understand..
Gloves are the smelliest part of equipment...Do you really want to use some one elses old ass gloves? You can get a decent pair that will last 2 or 3 seasons for under 30 bucks..

For a rec league you cant go wrong with a pair of 30 buck gloves..
I have gone threw 3 pairs in two years. Just because of the stench.. go to hockey giant.com or hockey monkey.

I have an entire set of new top of the line hockey equipment sitting in a brand new bag in my basement, I snapped a tendon and fractured my hip 2 weeks before first practice. what's your height/size?
