Heard about the board so I decided to join. A tad about my self. I live in Morris County and have a shop where I fix, semi restore and modify cars. suspension and drivetrains are my specialty. mainly 1970-81 firebirds, although other makes and models welcome. I do this on the side for now, but if the my day job as an engineer keeps looking grim (due to economy) I may do it full time. I got my first Tans Am in 95 and have had about 17 or so since. some I keep and others I resurrect them from their current state of despair and make them road worthy again. here is one of the cars I am currently working on:

nice warm greetings from all of you. several PT.com members here. cool. thanks for the complements on the project. It'll get done eventually.

BMXrider - regarding the rotor, that has since been replaced by a C5 unit. about 2" dia. larger. In any event, the vanes should be angled towards the rear to let the air out, not scoop it in. the incoming air enters from inner center of the rotor. good eye though. the rotors on the picture you posted are non directional. the vanes are actual straight as opposed to being curved.
