Are they open even though it's election day? I figure if they are open it's going to be dead and it'd be well worth it. I checked the site and it says they are, but i just want to make sure before I take the ride out there.

That's not a problem. I'm still in highschool and it's almost an hour ride out there so I only planned on staying until 9ish. I just want 5 runs and I'm out. I know someone who went a week and a half ago and got 14 runs in one night. I just want that 12 second pass under my belt. I'm just going to watch the weather and see how it looks.

should be $15 to run $10 to watch and $3 if you need a helmet. Right now the radar maps aren't being too friendly and it looks like it's going to be a washout.

Not sure where you got your weather info from, but atco looks like it's going to have great weather on Friday. The only problem is that low is only going to be 50. I would like to get atleast one run in when it's in the high 30's. Now i just need to get off of work on Friday.

That's why I originally planned on going on the 14th.I'm on a stock clutch and it's starting to slip with the power the car is now making so I want to see if it's worth getting the car dynoed again after seeing my track numbers. I just checked Atco's site and it looks like they were closed today even though the original schedule said they were open. O well, I was able to get off of work and will be hitting Atco this Fri, maybe next Tues, and next Fri.

its not cold enough for me to go. i want 35-40 degree nights. im going on a tuesday or thursday next week. i really hope dave milcarek can get a shot of my car launching. this way i have photographic proof that it lifts the drivers side front tire :D but it seems since i dont have a WS6 hood, he ignores my car, when in fact im running over a second faster than most WS6's i see out there those nights

Yea, I called about a half an hour ago and it's still saying they're gonna be running tonight. I'm going to make a call right before I leave to make sure I don't take the ride out there for nothing. Well if anyone spots a black Z28 that's an SS clone with a young kid driving it stop by and say hi since it looks like I'll be the only one I know heading out now.

Ehh well I just got in. let me say this....HORRIBLE night. I should of never went. Only got 4 passes in and no PB. Ran a 13.15@109.5 and all the other passes were 13.5+. That tack wasn't hooking and best of all, I hit a deer on the way there and now I need a new front bumper. Pics will be posted soon in the multimedia section.

Damn, sorry to hear about the deer accident, was it on jackson rd? Man you always gotta be carefull this time of year, I have seen them run across the road the past couple of times down there. Glad you are okay though! And as for the track I'm sure that all the rain and humidity didn't help plus I take it they didn't prep it either. yea it was actually on chatsworth road. I hit a baby deer at about 45. I only cracked the bumper so now it's off to the body shop on Monday. The car may be in the body shop next weekend so I may not even be going to TTp's event now.

ouch sorry to hear.............i cracked my car on a caddy not to long ago just got her back. Thats why i decided not to drive it to atco tonight. Good luck on getting it fixed. They did a great job where i took my car
