Imagine inhereting that, and finding out it is worth a quarter of a million dollars...thats like a dream. I wish I had "junk" like that sitting around. Imagine if that car had gotten scrapped...that is why I say, "never throw anything out, because even though you think you don't need it, you will need it."

One of the other 6 cars was restored and sold for $700,000 so $226K leaves you a lot of room to work with. But the collector who bought it has no intention of selling it. 1 of 6 factory built race cars with aluminum front end, plexiglas windshield, Super Duty 421, etc. is something you buy when you find it. Remember, Hemi Cuda convertibles sell for $3-5 million and there's nothing special about them! I'd rather have a super race factory built race car with history.

Those lightweights are legends of early stocker racing. That era represents the begining of the factory freak show that was super stock. Swissed frames, glass and aluminum front ends, ram air, factory relo'ed batteries, and so much more.
I have always wanted one of Beswick's wagons

I heard he was bidding on it but he was not the winner. He has the rarest of the rare cars and he probably still needs one of these so figure the price on a fully restored one is going up.
