A QB that doesn't know a regular season game can end in a Tie in the NFL http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/27773530/
Also a QB that doesn't know that post season games can't end in a tie.
You'd think that after being in the league 10 years and having games end in a tie in those 10 years he might know that games can end in a tie.
IDIOT!

...and I ask this to the ******* haters, what option do we have? Boy wonder that we wasted a draft pick on? Please. This offense has more issues than just McNabb, is it McNabb's fault this team has no running game and no viable option for short yardage situations? How about the horrendous play calling? The guy can't have a perfect game week in and week out.

You have one of the best, most versitle players in the league with Brian Westbrook as long as he stays healthy and even made it to the superbowl with Mctard when they had a decent receiver. Throwing 3 picks to the 1st or 2nd worst team in the NFL though is pretty bad no matter how you look at it.
Alot of teams waste alot of draft picks on young QB's that never pan out, but theres always the free agent market, look at the Titans(not this past game though) but Kerry Collins had stepped in nicely to the tune of 8-0. Chad Pennington has the Dolphins at 6-4 after one of their worst years ever last year. But for 115 mil you'd think he should be helping his team. For your team leader to not know OT can end in a Tie though??? WTF

He had a bad game, I guess Peyton Manning sucks after having a bad game too right? I know you didn't just say Pennington and McNabb in the same post  C'mon man, you're smarter than that. ;)
Brian Westbrook, yes...the most versatile player in the league when he brings his A game. He has done jack **** in the last 2 weeks and somehow everything is McNabb's fault.

The biggest problemwith McNabb is that he is long past his prime and he won't be getting it back. He is a good QB, but the league demands more than just good to win. With no one in the pipeline to be a legit successor, the Eagles are going to be stuck in the realm of just making the playoffs, and not doing too much with it.
Westbrook, great player, but so fragile. When he is healthy they rely on him too much and he takes too much abuse. He is also getting a bit long in the tooth as far as NFL running backs go, still a viable talent, but for how long taking that kind of abuse is questionable.
The Eagles need to take advantage some of that extra cap room they like to leave and start developing some younger talent.

They do have a better record than the eagles but thats neither here nor there, all I'm saying is theres something called the "free agent market" which is something they'll end up needing to look into in the not so distant future.
Point is they've sunk 115 mil and a good chunk of their future into a guy that doesn't know an NFL game can end in a tie.

The Eagles offensive woes go WAY WAY WAY deeper than *******. Everyone that dislikes the guy are quick to point the finger at him no matter what. Most of those people don't watch them week in and week out. I'm far from a huge McNabb fan but the issues don't start and stop with him, far from it.

What does a 1st round draft pick get you? No better than the 115 million dollars.
Another genius play call...play action when you have to go less than a yard....beautiful.

He's the QB, every offensive play goes through him, so yes it does start & stop with him. Thats not to say Andy Reid won't be looking for ajob too at the end of the season.
But yes the QB needs to be a leader, something I don't think Donovan has ever grasped completely

I totally disagree that everything starts and stops with him. Look at some teams that are winning with horrible QB's. We all know McNabb hasn't executed, he's been playing horribly the last few weeks but there are other stars on this team. There are other things the coaching staff can do. So is it all Kolb's fault he threw that INT on the 6 inch line? No. Granted he should have thrown the ball away but he should have never been in that position, that play should have NEVER been called.
At the end of the day it's the player's responsibility to perform and execute, however it's up to the coaching staff to help put them in a position to perform. When you have play calls that don't make sense or plays that the defense KNOW are coming what do you expect? Like I said, the issues goes much deeper than McNabb...he's not helping the situation but there's plenty of blame to go around. Some people just want to pin everything on McNabb...and that's fine....that just shows they have no clue about the game. :)

dude he was 8-18 for like 56 yards, if a team has a QB that does that poorly on the field they will not win many games either, it starts & ends with the QB.
I won't mention Kolb because you and I both know he is not the QB of the future there, point being Mcnabb sucks, is slightly retarded & cracks under any sort of pressure and that he won't be in philly after this season.
Tis all.

Yet they were down by 5 pts going into the 2nd half. Where was their running game? Where has their running game been the last 3 games? Is that McNabb's fault too? Is it McNabb's fault that we have a coach that treats our running game like a diet pill and never uses it? If your QB is struggling you change things up, you don't continue with passing and play action plays.
What does pressure have to do with the last few weeks? He's struggled...he's lost his confidence or has lost something in his head. I guess no QB goes through that? No one was saying he sucked when he/they started off good this season. No one said he sucked in the super bowl run...no said said he sucked when he was putting up good numbers with NO receiving core...
