800 Billion to unfreeze credit, 600B for housing, 200 for student and auto loans.
And NONE for Big 3.

unfreezing credit may help the big three by allowing people to buy a car........

To give banks liquidity to start lending again aka opeing up credit.

cause the dollar is **** right now, hell the Canadian dollar is almost worth just as much as the US dollar now days and the euro is worth even more.

They used that money to cover their @sses if they got called out on bonds or securities. Oh yeah, they needed that money for their CEO bonuses as well. :-x
