I could use some 'spare' ammo cans.....would be willing to take MANY in good condition (need to store some 'ammo')....nothing illegal. Can be painted or whatever, just no big dents and the lid needs to seal up properly. Can't just leave them in 'boxes'....and my friends need 'Xmas gifts' 8-)

Could offer some gas funds for your time and delivery....

I'm just saying.....when I went to the range, or even just DROVE out there, I could grab whatever was sitting out there on pallets, and no one cared, even when asked about it.

That's kinda the price I was looking for...and to help someone "for their time" so to speak ;)

If you manage to grab some and there's a few extra i'd be willing to pay shipping and throw a little on top ;)

Residue yard ? Like DRMO ??

Guess I'll try to track down some jarheads I know from Willow Grove for some assistance if I can find an email....

residue turn in, aka dunnage. ie spent casing, howitzer shells, ammo cans and boxes, motor tubes, anything left over after an ordinace is used. Much of the brass is accounted for, counted or weighed before we can clear any of our ammunition documents for the asp(ammo supply point)

some days we'll turn in up to 1200 105mm casings and 110 or so ammo cans that hold the fuses. the metal gets sold to private companies that either melt them down for scrap or sell them.
