I can't tell you guys WHAT the Saturn did last night.
Let's just say we changed the starter and basically the bf and my dad were working on it. Installed it, and they were trying to start it, but since it sat without starting it didn't rly wanna start right away and after trying about 8 times on the 9th they heard a boom. Looked at the starter, and the cone blew off (well, half of it).
I hate cars.

lol it was loaded up and it tried to go backwards...that sucks....sounds like the starter wasn't on right either
That happened to my car once... Only I drove it, came home turned it off, went home, the next day I tried to start it and BOOM!

Is this the part where you get told AGAIN to take your cars to a professional? Seems the novice efforts you are currently dealing with are only managing to make a bigger mess.

A lesson lived repeatedly is a lesson that just keeps getting more expensive.
Fixed that for ya.

Once again you have to talk about your damn tow truck biz.
But aside from that, anyone who builds a motor on the ground instead of a stand does have some skill
