its not a junkyard...just some dudes property and owns all that crap and wont sell none of it. when he dies or goes legally blind theyre crushing all of them regardless.

This guy has collected HUNDREDS of acres of cars! NOBODY knows about this place. Its in the middle of nowhere in RI. The owner is working on CRUSHING all these vintage cars! He has been instructed by the state to get rid of all the cars. It will take years to crush all these cars and the owner is 70 years old. I have no idea what will become of the largest junkyard I have ever seen. Nobody knows of this place. Thousands of these classics will go to waste. Here is mostly mustang pictures I took . There us Hundreds of 64-71 Mutangs. Boss, mach 1, many many convertibles, K codes, fastbacks.. Maybe shelbys? The owner is crazy. He's always drunk is very hard to deal with. He's in another world. He said he personally DROVE nearly all the cars in a field in the 60's-70 and left them there for dead. Many are rusted beyond repair. But there still many parts cars. It will take about two weeks of walking 5 hours a day to see all the cars here. Plus many of them are so buried in overgrown trees and prickers there is no way to see them. I seen a dozen complete 392 hemi cars. This guy refuses to advertise, so nobody knows about it. Believe it or not the guy is still buying cars and driving them in the woods. The last time i was there the owner bought a running 60's mustang and drove it in the woods to be left for dead.

quoted from another board i frequent.

crazy to say the least.

I like going there to just walk around. There are some hidden treasures in that place. A few HEMI cars.

I think we should form a NJFBOA roadtrip to go there and talk to the owner. I would love to save a notchback 67-68 mustang.

I think Paul has some competition lol. I could see it now, a caravan of trailers heading to RI, I would get one as well. Im damn serious, mods, would you like to post up a "whos going" list? someone should contact the owner to let him know as well, so its not an all for not trip

I am far from a Ford guy, but that is just sad.

If the govenrment had anyone smart in it they could seize the property for clean out and make the town a bunch of money. I am sure with all the parts that there are even if the cars are mostly rotted beyond being saved, they coudl raise enough money to build a nice community center, upgrade their schools, or some other positive public work from it.

When you say he charges too much, give us some estimates on what it was and what he was charging, he looks like a pack rat kind of guy, that makes prices too high so he can kee pthe part, but if your desperate enough he can make a good buck off of it.

i saw this on tech a few days ago. probably nothing will ever run again, but theres alot of good parts; sheetmetal, hoods/doors and such. being in a largely evergreen forest probably saved the cars from rotting further. when the needles drop, theyre very dry and dont hold any moisture, so there isnt 200lbs of wet leaves sitting on the metal like in a deciduous forest

What an ***hole. Did an old car smack his granny or something? Seems this guy has a personal vendetta against classic cars.

we went to get glass out of a 69-70 mustang. for both back and front he wanted over 500. You can buy it new cheaper then that.
