Well after watching many members post up their new PB's in the past month I decided to finally get back to the track and get one of my own. Today was my first day racing with DR's and it's a completely different animal. I can't wait until next season now. My 2 clean passes(only got 3 total) were a 13.09@111.25 and then the new PB 12.948@111.8 I am currently uploading pics from the day.

Crowded...and lots of oil downs. A Shelby mustang spun and hit the wall, then the god damn ford vs. buick thing which no one cared about. Crappy last day for Atco.

Haha mid 12's my :moon:. I want some 11.8's like ron lol. Next season once I get a rear under my belt I will push the car. My 12.94 run was done with a 2.1 60' so once I figure out how to launch I will get some nice passes in. For that pass I launched at 4K and still bogged badly:shock:, but I wasn't feeling the 6K rpm dump today. I will be buying some Dr's this winter and will hit the track more often next season. All in all, not a bad DD for a 17 year old:mrgreen:

I'm doing ok. I just can't wait to get home. I'm sure you'll be as fast as my vette soon. Saving for a house.

Yea we'll have some good races come next season. With tires and A little better driving I'm hoping for a mph somewhere around 114 so I'll probably be playing catch up with the vette and maybe by the end of next year win a few.
congrats vinnie and it was nice meeting you........it will be fun when i can launch that hard without snapping the drive shaft next spring

hey, atleast that means your making some power:-P Your not fast unless your breaking **** lol. I don't see my rear lasting too much into next season. Watching ron do some 6K rpm launches is gonna make me wanna do it eventually. And then my rear will blow. I guess I better start pricing out rears. I'll have to see what josh can do for me.

Haha, well I gotta see when my spring break is this year. First time out next year I plan on doing some nice 5500rpm launches so if it breaks I don't wanna be down for too long since it is my DD. The car held a 4K launch without a problem so what's another 1500 rpm:wink:

I was launchin at 3. I may try 3500 and bump my shift pressure up. I dont want my car broke for long either i just know its gonna happen. Thats why i didnt go yesterday becasue i just had a bad feeling.
