One of my Camaro books, they have a 67 "Panther" driving with circle tail lights, similar to the ones found on the early 2nd gens, with a 68 Corvette running along side of it...in 66.
The Panther Chaparral was going to be the performance model too.
Lots of good info on the Panther. Camaro was really an 11th hour decision to align the Camaro with a C name to match the rest of Chevy's line up.
