So it all starts last night when im driving down a local street a block from my house. Some kids thinking they are REALLLYYYY cool decide to throws eggs over the fence towards the street as i'm driving by. So I hear that the horrible thud that starts the dominoe of death. I lock up my breaks and immediately go to the house where i saw the eggs come from and knock on the door. Needless to say nobody answers the door. So i proceed to call the police and file a complaint for insurance purposes. The police cant do anything formally because the parents werent home and they are underage (14-16). Then, today I try to sign onto the Geico website to process a claim. It wont let me sign in with a description of "This policy has been cancelled". GREAT! After speaking to geico I find out that they sent the E-check back to my bank and denied payment on Dec. 5. I never received a late payment or cancellation notice. So not only does my car get egged but geico says that im not covered at the time of the incident...BTW damage on the right quarter panel is a 3-ring bullseye type crack in the paint. No other damage because i washed it off ASAP. Boy, does this suck big time:barf::cry:

I'd start looking up some laws and go back to the house when the parents are there and try to make them pay for the damages.
he cant, it was technically an uninsured vehicle, so technically it shouldnt have been there to be hit by anything flying through the air

I went to the house earlier and spoke to the parents...aparently things like this happen at this house quite often. Legally, i cant make anyone pay for it because I cant prove it was THEIR kid that did it and not someone elses kid since i only saw the eggs coming from the other side of a fence.
yeah, if the parents are used to their kids being dip****s, they might just pay you without making an issue of it ......... that would rock

also true..my complaint about that is the fact i was never notified that i was no longer insured, nor was my payment accepted by the insurance company...otherwise I wouldn't be driving my baby around uninsured.

exactly...if you've ever missed a payment on something(specially in "these economic times" lol) you would know that if a payment is 1 hour late your getting phone calls and bills rushed to your door via the companies personal mail man lol.

Same thing happened to my friend, they dropped him and never told him. He was trying to go through inspection and found out. This state is so messed up but I can't believe that insurance companies can drop you without informing you or making sure you know.

Did the E-check not clear or did Geico not accept it? In New Jersey insurance companies aren't allowed to just randomly dump people, they need to provide a reason.

They didnt tell me why the check wasn't applied to the account. And its because they randomly dumped me that I opened an investigation with the insurance company to find out why payment wasnt applied and then i was dumped without notification or reason.
