The Armory in Perth Amboy FTMFW!!!!!

Tonight unstable bob went to The Armory in Perth Amboy [CENTRAL JERSEY] for some of their fine Rodezio! For those that don't know what Rodezio is, it is a Portuguese all you can eat MEAT FEST! STEAK! CHICKEN! TURKEY! PORK! BEEF! All brought out on skewers right to your table, where the server unloads it right onto your plate. Well, ubg was in fine form tonight, and he had the server MOVING! ubg was hungry as hell, since he didn't eat all day, so he DESTROYED some meat, and DOWNED some Sangria! And ubg's waiter was COOL as hell! He was a very dapper older Portuguese gentleman, and he treated ubg RIGHT! He made sure the server was out when ubg's plate was getting low, and he even gave ubg his second pitcher of Sangria for free! And he packed up all the bones from ubg's meal so ubg could bring 'em home for the pugs! So ubg gave him a BIG AZZ TIP! ubg HIGHLY recommends The Armory. But starve yourself all day before ya go so ya get yer money's worth! Maybe this could be the site of a future CENTRAL meet!

I work in PA and ive been in there kitchen a few times for some issues and I would never eat in that place again after what I saw goes on in that kitchen.

ME LOVE MEAT but i donno about that place ubg.
But we do NEED a central meet some where in this area you know CENTRAL not south central or north west central all the time.

Hell yeah! I've been to rodizio twice and both times it was awesome. Never been to that one though- I've been to Plataforma in NYC and Fogo de Chao in Philly.

As far as 'dirty' restaurants in NJ.....I've been in a few and they're FAR from the 'A' ratings they showed in the windows....:shock: Food just left out....flies all over....dirty counters, DUST/DIRT/GRIME build up all over.....floors NASTY.....coughing all over the foods....ich...

But hey...as long as UBG didn't get 'the trots'.....its all good.

BTW, my family in MD hits up a place like that too....can't wait to visit myself :)
