Taken from Ultimategto.com:
Outstanding story: In 1971, a dude accidentally rolled his 1967 GTO down a steep mountain cliff in Greece while on vacation. The car, totally destroyed, could not be retrieved and was left in a ravine in a densely wooded area. 35 years later, the woods burns away in a fire and the dude's son scales down the rocky mountain cliff to FIND and PHOTOGRAPH his father's mangled GTO...

Same here. My dad had a '66 that he bought brand new when he was 19. Hearing about that car and seeing the pictures as a kid is what got me in to muscle cars and old Pontiacs.

thats crazy as hell that the car is still there he should pull the car out the ditch and bring it to his dad
As my dad was driving the car making a blind turn the car caught the edge of the mountain leaving the GTO hanging by its treads when all of a sudden GTO flew off the side of the cliff tumbling down the steep mountain destroying the car and my fathers best friend dying in the accident................my father until this day will not speak of this terrible accident and wishes to never see these pictures again.
the car should not be touched

:stupid: And besides, where that car is located the only way is to bring in a helicopter and have it lifted out. I doubt this guy has that kind of money.
