im at an air force base here in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. we landed yesterday and should be flying into Afghanistan on Saturday. Pretty interesting here. There are like 300 of us in one huge tent structure in bunk beds, About half are flying out tonight, but of course my company gets to go last. I'll be back online a few times while im still here before saturday. then maybe a few more times while at the air base in afghanistan before we head out to our FOB. there are rumors that they are working on getting wireless interet out at out FOB, that would be nice.

Tsar... where the hell am i? we have one russian in our company and we joke that he'll go awol and head to the russian army base about 40 miles away from here. lol.

I've been through there a few times.. I just hope they got some new mattresses and bunk beds since I was there.. Those things were horrible the last time I was there!

Even got a harly dealer out there. Shirts are about $25 a piece :mrgreen: and UNIQUE in the US ;) Ask my dad the comments he gets from his.

Anyhows....stay safe. If you gotta, ask around about Satellite interwebz. Its not too bad as long as there's no webcam action going on and no heavy pr0n d'ling.....

There's hardly any trips that go to dubai these days, and since the isreal thing is going on they've cancelled all trips off base.

ah. finally here, well not at our FOB yet, but at least in country. very interesting so far. we head out to our final destination in about a week. Things are said to be real active in that region. we are garunteed to see a ton of intense action. im not sure how often ill get phone/web access so it may be periods between communication. see you all in 2010 otherwise.
