Just as I was finishing up at the gym this morning I got one of the worst calls.... No no one died, my gf's not pregnant.... well I don't have one so that's not it.... But I did get laid off from my job.
For a company that just turned a 5 million dollar profit in dec, has been reduced to laying off quite a few employees. There are no orders for feb, march, and april. Its amazing how business kinda just disappeared!
So Im now on the hunt for a new job. I'll take anything at this point.

Im an automotive Paint Tech, but was doing Industrial Coatings for military units ( lockhead-martin stuff) (Mil-Spec Paint) For sonar units, and eletrical component housings and what not.
But I have a vast aray of skills from Painting cars - computers - towing and I'm willing to learn new things.
I do have an associates degree but I did that for S&Gs lol
Either way the only automotive shop I found needing a painter is believe it or not Berlin Macco which I told my self I would never stoop that low, but might have to for the time being. If I go there the customers sure will be happy with there clear coats that is for sure lol.

Dude right now being a tow truck driver is where its at!!! Seriously, nobody is fixing they're cars cause nobody has money. Tow companies are looking for people just to keep up with AAA. on my end nobody wants to pay for parking, so they take the chance. I've been making 700-900 a week for the past 2 months, and its only getting busier. Come summer time it'll be 1500 a week. If you have the experience, or can learn really fast, try to get a towing job
