ok well im tired of looking at my monte sitting in the garage. idk how much of a bad idea this is going to be so let me know. i was thinking of just getting a rad and hoses for my car(thats all i really need to start it.) i dont have the trans cooler lines for the car right now so i was thinking of plugging them off so i can get her fired up. now im not going to be driving it at all i just want to get it running to try to motivate me to get her done. it would be running for maybe half hour tops

i wouldn't run it without trans lines hooked up. it has to travel out then back in.

whats stopping you from hooking the trans cooler lines up?

I got a new pair of cooler lines that I don't need. Not bent or anything yet, if thats what stopping you

i just havent got around to ordering them plus i was up in the air about selling the carbed motor and trans to either put in an lt1 or ls1. so i didint want to order them and have them sit here if i changed my mind on the engine trans setup

I would think you could tie the lines together, kindof like what you could do for a heater bypass. But if your going to go through the effort of that, you might as well get the lines in. It would be cool to drive it around...do you have a driveshaft for it?

i have to stock driveshaft that will work for now since im using the trans that came out of the car. but i still need some more stuff to be able to drive it.i was just mainly looking to fire her up
