In a way thats a good thing, in reality the closer you are to 0 the less the govt is taking advantage of you, hence the reason you can change your dependants & such...if you can get to +/-$100 thats pretty darn good.

If you are getting back $2000 it means you were giving the gov't money they could earn interest on for 12 months and now are giving you back a few bucks.

Everybody always talks about the money they are getting back- forgetting that it's your money that the government has kept from you until now. You could have been earning inerest on it in the meantime.

i'm gonna owe money, because my 1 job doesnt with hold, but like bill and billy have said, I've self-withheld and had it in a savings account gaining interest, minimal as it may be. I also need to sit down and chart out all of my write off's for that job and opening a business. i might end up owing nothing, and then i'll have over $2k as my "return" that I already have :)

Exactly.....plus i owe Martin like 903 dollars so i will give him like $300 and get some of the paid off, a new tattoo and a trip to Atlantic City lol

I just did mine. Freetaxusa.com FTW. $12 and 10 minutes later my Fed and State taxes are done. :)
