The questions that get posted seem to get answered easily in the Lounge and our focus is not to become a computer tech support site. There are a lot of forums that already cater to the audience if a question becomes too advanced for a member to get an answer quickly in the Lounge.

But a racers lounge is necessary?

We aren't a computer tech site, we are a car club. Racing is part of the automotive hobby, so yes, there are reasons to have an expanded area for motorsports discussion.

Everything in that forum could be posted in "other events" or in the lounge.
Oh I see that ALL the tech sections get used HEAVILY :rollseye:

Problem with starting non-auto forums is then you start getting requests for other non-auto forums, and then there is more to moderate. The politics & food forums at nastyz are causing us headaches that have no relation to the mail goal of the site. Now they want a gun forum, and others.

I think this has gone far enough.
Thanks for the suggestion James. Perhaps in the future as the community grows there will be more of a need.
