Any one here suffer from a head injury?
I got slammed on the back of the head by a boat hatch about six months ago. Went to the ER, got the head scanned no serious damage. Went to see a doctor cause my head was killing me a few weeks later, he said it should be sensitive for a while. Six months later its still sore, and when I changed the oil today I irritated it and now have a head splitting headache.
Thoughts?

Concussions can stay with you for a while. Go to a doctor and tell them your latest incident. Maybe they missed something in the first scan or something else happened since then.

yeah i had a major concussion once on a cheap carnival ride. sometimes i get the same feeling when i play first person shooter games for a long time, or go on anything that spins for a while.
but man your health is priceless..dont take a risk, get it checked out again to be sure
dude, two years ago I was skimboarding w/ my big ass board and when I hit a wave the board flung in the air and landed tip first onto my head. It cracked my head open, had a concussion, bleed everywhere and had to receive 20 staples. " Buut i'm prfectlly fnie." lol just playing.

ah ha...thats whats wrong with you....
It can take a while to recover from head trauma but I would head back to the Dr. anyway just to make sure things are ok.

Nothing is worse than working under the car and lifting your head up a little and hitting it hard on something, then dropping backwards and hitting the garage floor! That's a double whammy and usually takes a few minutes for the cobwebs to clear up. That and tree branches bouncing off your head! It's good to see just about everyone has done some damage, it explains a lot around here!
